Sleep Deprived and Lov’in It

For most boa and python breeders this is a busy time of the year pairing up all the animals. While it’s exciting, it’s equally time consuming. Trying to accomplish this and juggle the rodent room responsibilities, feeding the furnace approximately 1 cord of wood every few days, and be a good husband and father, leaves very little time for sleep!

Amy and I have been sharing a 18-20 hour work day with each of us averaging 4-6 hours of sleep. All I know is once the breeding season is over, we are going to sleep like bears!

2011 is shaping up to be an exciting year. The mutations we are working on and the variety of animals we will have is what is fueling our fire!
